Who are we?
The staff and members of the forum are San Diego photographers that are dedicated to capturing of the immense beauty of this city, one shutter click at a time. Our members and staff are also here to help anyone who's new to photography, whether it's a brand new dSLR or a point and shoot. We have photographers that cover all kinds of subjects, from race cars and pro baseball to babies and portraits to landscape scenes from all over the United States and world.
What do we do?
We're here to help members and guests produce the highest quality picture by sharing techniques, and giving honest and helpful feedback. We have Monthly Photo Shoots where a location is chosen and we meet to explore the photographic possibilities of that location, or work on technique and get instant feedback and assistance from our fellow photographers.
There is a monthly Photography Contest to show off your best stuff, and the winner gets displayed on the forum's home page (see below) with a link to their personal web page. Winners also receive a free Smugmug Pro Account for one year!
San Diego Photography Forum is not equipment specific and we welcome all Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Sony, Pentax and other users. Any film users still out there? We want you!! You don't even have to be from San Diego!
