  • Anyone shooting anything tomorrow?

Anyone going out shooting tomorrow the 10th? I know there's a group of people from the other San Diego photography forum that are going to that vineyard place in Rancho Bernardo. Is anyone from here going with them to that? Or anything else tomorrow?

Got anything else in mind then? Also, you sure you won't have words with anyone from the other forum? LOL.

          Re: Anyone shooting anything tomorrow?

The following is a copy and paste of the event from the other forum:

This group shoot location offers lots of opportunities to photograph a variety of subjects and try different photographic techniques. Their website http://bernardowinery.com/default.aspx provides a good “heads-up” into the full range of these opportunities, as well as other non-photographic leisure activities that can be enjoyed after your memory cards are full. As you might expect from a venue that is over 100 years old, there is a potpourri of antiques from knickknacks to tractors. The outdoor setting also offers shots of grapes (in the vineyards), flowers, bugs and birds. Capture the history and ambiance of the winery in any number of creative ways . . . experiment with different lens combinations, seek out interesting and challenging lighting scenarios, or pre-visualize some cool post-processing technique you want to try.

Newcomers are very much welcome! We have willing and able “mentors” for those seeking general guidance or assistance with (almost?) any type of camera equipment.

Those interested can plan to meet for lunch at noon on the premises at Café Merlot (http://bernardowinery.com/cafe_merlot.aspx).

The Bernardo Winery is located off of Pomerado Road in Rancho Bernardo, North San Diego County. While traveling to Bernardo Winery, you will drive through a retirement community, keep on Paseo Del Verano until you see the winery entrance on the east side of the street.

          Address and phone:
          13330 Paseo Del Verano Norte
          San Diego, CA 92128
          (858) 487-1866 (858) 487-1866

Check back to this page periodically for any updates!

I didn't even read that part about the other forum till now. My boring reference was to the whole winery thing itself. If you roll with them I have no doubt that you'll have a great time, there's a great bunch of togs over there mang.

I'm shooting a wine tasting/party in afternoon and some x-mas card shots in morning.
