If I don't give you a hard time at some point then it just means I don't like you. It's all fun and games.

Re: March Photo Challenge - Black and White

Years back, after I had been shooting LF for a short while, I came across the Polaroid 4x5 holder. I got myself a box of Type 55 to experiment with. For those who don't know what it is, it's an instant B&W film/print. You place the packet a holder, pull back the outer sleeve, expose the film, replace the sleeve, and then develop the packet. The cool thing about Type 55 is that is produces both a negative and a positive print. The prints aren't great, but the negatives are very unique. In addition the development pack can be used for Polaroid transfers!

This is my submission for the month, which is my very first Polaroid exposure. It was a "test" shot in my backyard, to see how this film worked. The exposure wasn't what I thought it should be. At first I didn't think I liked the negative, but over the years it's really grown on me. So I present it here as my submission for the month.

Re: March Photo Challenge - Black and White

There are some very nice submissions in this one! It'll be a tough decision for me. I'm not out of retire yet, but since B/W is something I really enjoy, I'm going to post a shot to join in on the fun. It just won't be part of the voting...

Throw a little light. If it doesn't come back, it probably fell off...
