Jim Messina...

I do a lot of live music photography. I had the chance to shoot Loggins & Messina at Humphrey's a few weeks ago.

I don't know if I like this one or not; unsure of why. I even kinda' dig the black & white version:





Thoughts?

I like the B&W version also. Exposure is good with the black background & that spotlight makes the photo pop.
Its a lil soft but thats probably cause you had to give/take for a decent shot.

I like the lighting and exposure the only thing for me is my attention is drawn immediately to the shadow of the microphone. I know nothing could be done about that detail but it is less prominent and seems more appropriate in the B&W photo. That makes the B&W my favorite as well. Nice shot.
