I was never able to do a rig shot of my own car since the 20D doesn't have any kind of wireless remote trigger. I suppose I could have used the timer but that's to cumbersome.

But found out that I can use my CyberSyncs with a N3 cable from FlashZebra. Well the cable came in last week and had a chance to test it out over the weekend. It works though it seems like you have to "reset" the trigger by toggling a switch thats inline on the cable.

It's a generic setup that I found at POTN. but there is some changes ive done to make it more easily transportable though I may have sacrificed rigidness/stability. Definitely can improve on the rig to get that back.

I like it. It shows how much post you had to do to get the photo looking so interesting.

It's probably the same to what you are thinking. Used two avenger suction cups to attach the pole/boom to the car on one end with the camera attached at the other end. Used the cybersyncs as a remote wireless trigger for the camera. The remote wireless trigger is what helped alot to take the picture

Progressin well Ron although next time I'd try to find a darker background to make the car stand out more.

Quickly chose a place down the street where I live to do this test run of the cybersyncs
But definitely keep in mind the darker background

Oh and I don't do tint! I prefer the clear look lol.
