Believe it or not, I didn't take many pictures over the trip. Spent most of the time just enjoying the company of the members and most of all relaxing. I'll be adding images as I can get them uploaded. Cox is giving me upload speeds of < 1kb a second which is driving me nuts so bear with me.

Sunset with the king... Kingsford that is.

Thanks to Randy for lettin me rock his wide angle.

        Slowly but surely getting uploaded.

        Rock on Mother Nature!

These are for TonyZ! A woman severely broke her ankle on the trip up the trail and the Sheriff's Dept had to come airlift her down the valley to the awaiting medics. Not bad for my first real aviation shots. The first one shows some signs of camera shake but I feel the rest are pretty solid.

Ty's Flash Workshop worked for me even though I was too lazy to bust out my 580.

Very nice shots, guys. Jessy, your first heli shot is quite good. Marshall, I really dig the one with the heli where the heatwash is very apparent, but great set all around.

Thanks! I got yelled at by the PoPo for that shot.. totally worth it. And john before you say anything this is one of those times that shooting on quick succession paid off. I have 10 shots of that heli takin off one after the other...and this one turned out to be the winner just when it got high enough to not touch the mountain in the background.

I'm really bummed now. It looks like you guys had a great time. Post up more guys so I can vicariously relive your experience. Nice shots so far. (Does anybody have the winning lottery numbers so I can retire?)
The camera makes you forget you're there. It's not like you are hiding but you forget, you are just looking so much.

I had a great time this weekend! Thanks to everyone for their generosity and hospitality, really made for a memorable experience. Now I can't wait to go camping again!

Here's what I've managed to come up with, tried a few pp techniques but still not sure what I like.

                          Enjoy!

                            Nice shots Randy!

Love the controlled distortion on the wide-angles.
